Laser hair removal sessions deliver focused optical energy across measured surface zones.
Our laser hair removal Loop Chicago suite at 400 South LaSalle Street applies high-output 810nm diode laser energy with continuous contact sapphire cooling. Every appointment is calibrated to target melanin in active-phase hair follicles across defined anatomical zones.
We bill exclusively per zone and per session, ranging from $125 to $400. You never pay for unrendered appointments, and we never trap clients inside open-ended monthly credit memberships. This is a personal care aesthetic protocol designed to reduce unwanted hair growth over structured intervals, not a medical cure for underlying endocrine disorders.
Surface Zone Matrix & Transparent Pricing
Clients compare aesthetic providers on price per zone and machine technology. At Glamorise, our prices are fixed to physical square centimeter estimates of human anatomy.
| Zone Tier | Anatomical Target Areas | Typical Timing | Per-Session Fee |
|---|---|---|---|
| Small Zone | Upper lip, chin, sideburns, basic bikini line, or underarms | 15–20 minutes | $125 – $175 |
| Medium Zone | Extended Brazilian, full neck, both shoulders, or forearms | 25–35 minutes | $180 – $260 |
| Large Zone | Full chest, full abdomen, upper back, lower back, or half legs | 35–45 minutes | $270 – $340 |
| Extra-Large Zone | Full back with shoulders, or complete full legs (thighs down to ankles) | 50–60 minutes | $350 – $400 |
What your quote depends on: total surface area treated, hair density, and whether you book single isolated appointments or a multi-session schedule. Multi-session appointments spaced 4 to 8 weeks apart allow pulses to intersect different follicular growth cycles.
Equipment Specifications & Proof of Practice
All laser hair removal procedures are conducted in private suite quarters by our cosmetologist, operating in aesthetic practice since 2019 under State of Illinois licensure. We have completed over 120 documented aesthetic client sessions in Chicago with spotless sanitation records.
We utilize an advanced 810nm diode laser handpiece engineered with an integrated sapphire chilling window. The chiller maintains a constant surface temperature of 4 degrees Celsius directly against the epidermis. This continuous contact refrigeration prevents excessive surface heating while optical pulses deliver thermal energy to follicle root bulbs beneath the skin surface.
Optoelectronic Specifications
-
WAV
810nm Diode Emission
Optimal absorption spectrum for melanin pigments contained in follicular hair shafts without unnecessary epidermal absorption.
-
ICE
Continuous Sapphire Contact Chilling
Solid sapphire glass window cools the surface before, during, and immediately after each laser pulse, maintaining comfort without messy ice bags.
The Five-Phase Appointment Sequence
We run each appointment with clinical discipline. Every pulse is tracked on our digital handpiece counter to ensure thorough, uniform grid coverage.
-
01
Skin & Shave Inspection (5 Min)
We examine the area under magnifying surgical illumination to confirm hairs are shaved flush to the epidermal surface. Any remaining long hairs can singe and cause superficial irritation.
-
02
Anatomic Grid Marking (5 Min)
Using a cosmetic white grease pencil, we mark the target zone into 10x10 cm quadrangles to ensure zero overlap and zero missed follicular clusters.
-
03
Coupling Gel Application & Eyewear Fit (3 Min)
Both client and practitioner don optical wavelength filters. A thin chilled ultrasonic gel layer is smoothed across the grid to facilitate smooth handpiece gliding.
-
04
Laser Energy Delivery (15–40 Min)
The chilled sapphire tip glides across the skin at 5 to 10 pulses per second, maintaining firm contact to displace capillary blood and maximize light delivery to follicles.
-
05
Gel Cleansing & Zinc Barrier Shield (5 Min)
We remove all conductive gel with sterile foam wipes, apply a cooling aloe-infused calming balm, and coat exposed body zones with mineral zinc sunblock.
Eligibility Criteria & Candidacy Disclosures
Mandatory Non-Medical Practice Declaration
Glamorise provides non-medical aesthetic and personal care sessions. These cosmetic services do not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, and do not replace consultation with a qualified medical doctor.
Who this session is NOT for:
- Individuals with natural red, grey, white, or very pale blond hair in the target area (diode lasers require dark eumelanin pigment to generate heat).
- Clients who have waxed, plucked, threaded, or used chemical depilatories in the target area within the past 4 weeks (the follicle root must remain physically present).
- Individuals taking light-sensitizing medications (such as doxycycline, tetracycline, or St. John's Wort) within the preceding 14 days.
- Pregnant women or nursing mothers without formal clearance from their supervising obstetrician.
- Anyone with active sunburn, open cuts, or active herpes simplex outbreaks in the procedure zone.
- Clients with tattooed skin in the treatment area (laser wavelengths will distort ink and cause burns; we work strictly 2 inches away from tattoo borders).
