Client eligibility requires objective health screening and formal physician clearance.

Glamorise maintains non-negotiable safety standards, clear contraindication thresholds, and strict medical clearance rules for every cosmetic aesthetic session.

We operate an instruction and scheduled cosmetic care practice, not an urgent care facility or dermatology hospital. If a visitor exhibits active dermal pathology, systemic autoimmune complications, or unverified health histories, we refuse procedure administration until an independent licensed medical doctor provides written clinical clearance.

Non-negotiable contraindications and automatic procedure holds

To protect client physical wellbeing and preserve protocol integrity, the following conditions constitute immediate grounds for session deferral or outright refusal:

  • Pregnancy and Active Lactation: Neuromodulators, dermal fillers, RF microneedling, and cryolipolysis are strictly contraindicated. Sessions cannot be scheduled until completion of nursing.
  • Active Skin Infections or Open Lesions: Herpes simplex flare-ups, open cystic acne ruptures, eczema outbreaks, or active bacterial impetigo in the target zone result in immediate procedure rescheduling.
  • Keloid Scarring History: Clients with documented hypertrophic or keloidal scar-formation tendencies are ineligible for fractional RF micro-pins or mechanical collagen induction.
  • Active Systemic Autoimmune Flare-ups: Lupus erythematosus, scleroderma, or uncontrolled connective tissue disorders require written clearance from the client's attending rheumatologist or physician.
  • Recent Sun or Tanning Bed Exposure: Laser hair removal sessions require 14 days of zero active ultraviolet exposure. Tanned or sun-sensitized skin is refused optical laser passes.

When a deferral occurs, client deposits are held without penalty for up to 90 days to allow for resolution of the underlying condition or receipt of medical clearance documentation.

The physician clearance documentation workflow

If your intake questionnaire reveals a monitored chronic health diagnosis, a cardiac pacemaker (which contraindicates RF microneedling energy), or active anticoagulant prescription therapy, you must submit formal physician clearance prior to booking:

Workflow Stage Required Documentation Verification Timeline
Intake Identification Client health questionnaire flagging monitored condition Completed during initial digital or in-person review
Medical Clearance Form Signed letterhead release from board-certified physician Must be received at least 48 hours before session
Verification Audit Cosmetologist checks physician NPI standing and notes Logged securely in client electronic record file
Session Execution Cosmetic protocol calibrated strictly within cleared boundaries Maintains standard per-unit pricing schedule

Pre-session preparation mandates

To minimize bruising and optimize cosmetic response:

  • 7 Days Prior: Discontinue non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (ibuprofen, naproxen), aspirin, high-dose vitamin E, and fish oil supplements, unless medically prescribed by your doctor.
  • 24 Hours Prior: Avoid alcoholic beverages and intense cardiovascular exertion. For laser hair removal, perform a clean razor shave across the treatment area.
  • Day of Appointment: Arrive with skin thoroughly cleansed and free of cosmetic foundations, tinted sunscreens, or heavy topical serums.

Biohazard containment and single-use disposal protocol

Glamorise maintains strict zero-reuse rules for every invasive or semi-invasive cosmetic consumable. Neurotoxin micro-needles, dermal filler blunt cannulas, Morpheus8 24-pin arrays, and mechanical microneedling cartridges are unsealed from sterile factory packaging in front of the client.

Immediately upon completion of an injection or microneedling pass:

  • Sharp implements are placed directly into rigid, wall-mounted, puncture-resistant OSHA-compliant red biohazard sharps receptacles. Implements are never recapped, clipped, or laid down on counters.
  • Contaminated gauze, gloves, and protective drape linens are sealed into double-lined biohazard waste containers for certified disposal.
  • Consumable lot serial numbers and manufacturer expiration dates are recorded into the client's session ledger alongside exact units or volumes dispensed.

All aesthetic procedures follow our unbundled fee schedule: Botox at $10–$18 per unit, dermal fillers at $550–$1,000 per syringe, HydraFacial at $150–$350, laser hair removal at $125–$400 per zone, CoolSculpting at $1,200–$3,500 per area, Morpheus8 at $800–$2,500, and microneedling at $200–$700.
